Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Labradillo Co., LLC runs labradillo.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. If you have a question, email hello@labradillo.com.

What We Collect

Visit Counts

We count visits with GoatCounter, an analytics tool that runs on our own server. It doesn’t use cookies. For each page view it records the page, the site that linked you here, your browser and operating system, your screen size, and your approximate country. It uses your IP address only to tell one visit apart from another, and it doesn’t store your IP address. We use these counts to see which parts of the site people read.

If you join our newsletter, you give your email address to Kit, the company that sends our emails. Kit’s signup form loads on our pages, and Kit’s privacy policy covers what Kit collects through it. We use your email address to send you the Pumpkin Bacon Treat recipe and news about our books. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email infra@labradillo.com and we’ll remove you.

Web Requests

Like every website, our server sees your IP address and browser details when it sends you a page. Our server doesn’t keep a log of these requests.

Other Companies Involved

Some parts of each page come from other companies, which receive your IP address and browser details when your browser asks them for it:

DigitalOcean hosts our server and serves our images.
Google Fonts serves the site’s fonts.
Cloudflare (cdnjs) serves the site’s icons.
Kit serves the newsletter signup form.

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with anyone except these companies, which handle it to run the site. We don’t run ads.

Children’s Privacy

Our books are for kids, but this site is for the grown-ups who read with them. Our newsletter is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us personal information, email infra@labradillo.com and we’ll delete it.

Your Choices

To unsubscribe, use the link at the bottom of any newsletter, or email infra@labradillo.com.
To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email infra@labradillo.com. We’ll answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
